Women’s Mandal Peeran and Government Senior Secondary School Peeran won volleyball trophy

In the sports competition organized on the occasion of Independence Day in village Chikhar of Gram Panchayat Satlai of Mashobra Block, Mahila Mandal Peeran won the volleyball trophy by defeating the students of Government Senior Secondary School Chikhar in the final. While in the under 15 boys category of volleyball, Government Senior Secondary School Peeran also won.
Ravi Thakur, the organizer and secretary of the sports competition, said that eight women’s teams and seven under-15 boys’ teams participated in this volleyball competition. Ex-serviceman Kamal Sharma attended as the chief guest. He donated an amount of Rs. 31,000 to the committee from his personal account and gave away prizes to the winners and runners-up.
