Women of Garpaiya started a cleanliness drive on Environment Day

Women of Satog Panchayat’s Mahila Mandal Garpeya celebrated World Environment Day by planting saplings and cleaning the village roads. Mahila Mandal President Reena Sharma said that all national programs are celebrated with great enthusiasm by the Mahila Mandal and every year on Environment Day, the message of environment is given by planting saplings and cleaning the entire village and surrounding area. On this occasion, women cleaned all public places including roads, drinking water sources. In which Mahila Mandal Secretary Leela Vati, Suman, Krishna, Buddhu Devi, Deepika Sharma and Satya along with other women participated. Reena Sharma said that people are made aware from time to time about the importance of planting more and more trees and that daughters are precious.
