Why is BJP repeatedly going to the Election Commission to stop pension of Rs 1500: Zainab

Himachal Pradesh Mahila Congress President Zainab Chandel, accusing BJP of being anti-women, said that BJP is not able to tolerate the empowerment of women, hence it is creating obstacles in providing pension of Rs 1500 to women and repeatedly complaining to the Election Commission. Getting closer. He said that the present state government, fulfilling its election guarantee, has started Indira Gandhi Pyari Behna Sukh Samman Nidhi to provide a pension of Rs 1500 every month to women. But BJP leaders are trying to stop an already ongoing scheme under the guise of an election code of conduct. He said that the BJP only pretends to be women-friendly, whereas the opposition party is completely against women’s power. BJP does nothing for women except take votes in elections.

Zainab Chandel said that BJP may oppose the stopping of pension of Rs 1500 as much as it wants, but this amount will be available to women from April 2024. Beneficiary women of Lahaul and Spiti district are being given a pension of Rs 1500 and women of other districts of the state will also be given the benefit of this scheme from April 1, 2024. He said that the state government has also approved a budget of Rs 800 crore in the cabinet meeting to implement the scheme in the entire state and the notification to implement the scheme from April 1 has already been issued. Despite this, BJP is repeatedly reaching out to the Election Commission demanding a ban on the scheme, which is a clear proof of their being anti-women. He said that the reality of BJP leaders has been revealed to the women of Himachal Pradesh and women power is ready to teach a tough lesson to BJP in the elections. Zainab Chandel said that Indira Gandhi Pyari Behna Sukh Samman Nidhi Yojana will bring a big change in the lives of women. They will get Rs 18000 annually, which will help women become self-reliant and BJP is not able to digest this.
