While addressing the journalists in Shimla, Vice President of Bharatiya Janata Party, Rajiv Bhardwaj said that the double engine government has given rapid pace to the development of Himachal. The government of double-engine has established new dimensions of development and welfare schemes, where Congress has been busy in nurturing Nepotism, Rajwadashahi and family politics while Bharatiya Janata Party has brought 55 years of movement of Hatti community to a logical end given AIIMS Bilaspur, Bulk Drug Park, Social Security Pension to the people of Himachal and other numerous schemes like shagun Sahara etc.
He said that the Jai Ram government of the state has done commendable work in the health sector. So far, the double engine government has spent 528 crores on free treatment and provided free treatment to 5 lakh 2 thousand patients within the state. During epidemic like Corona, the state has got the first place in both the vaccination campaigns. Apart from this, Sahara Yojana is a symbol of the sensitivity of the state government towards the people of the state. JaiRam government has provided financial assistance of Rs.3 thousand to 20 thousand persons under Sahara Yojana for medical treatment. This really shows the helpful mindset vision of the state government towards the poor people of the State.
Rajeev Bhardwaj said that 6 medical colleges in a small hilly state like Himachal are a special gift to Himachal by the Double Engine Government. There use to be 32 ventilators in the state before Corona pandemic, now we have more than 1 thousand ventilators and more than 5 thousand oxygen concentrators, where there used to be only 2 oxygen plants under the Congress government. It is clear from this that how wonderful work has been done by Jai Ram Sarkar for the state.
He said that Jai Ram government has done a great job for industrial investment and making Himachal Pradesh self-reliant. The Bulk Drug Park to be built at a cost of 1 thousand 900 crores has been approved, for construction of Bulk Drug Park for which the central government will provide thousand crores. At the same time, 90 percent work has been completed by the state government in Jal Jeevan Mission. Under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, 1 lakh 38 thousand families of the state have been given benefits. Himachal Pradesh is the first state in the nation where domestic gas connections have reached every household and made smoke free . This is the work that will clear the way for the Bharatiya Janata Party to power in the coming assembly elections and again the BJP government will be serving the people of the state in a better manner .
