Vote for Kamlesh Thakur for the development of Dehra: Dr. Rajesh
Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee treasurer and former candidate Dr. Rajesh Sharma has appealed to the people of the assembly constituency to vote for Congress candidate Kamlesh Thakur for the development of Dehra. He has also asked questions to former independent MLA Hoshiar Singh. Dr. Rajesh has asked Hoshiar Singh to tell what he did for the development of Dehra in six and a half years. Looking at the condition of the area, it seems that development was never Hoshiar Singh’s priority. If the former MLA had given importance to development in the area, then today Dehra would not have been the most backward assembly constituency of Kangra district. Hoshiar Singh has failed to develop his home panchayat Khairian. He gave importance only to personal development.
He said that people are angry due to lack of development in the former MLA’s home Panchayat. Hoshiyar Singh is getting the road approved for SC colony constructed up to his commercial institute, which has angered the people. There is also a problem of electricity and water in his Panchayat. There is no proper building facility for school and primary health center. Hoshiyar will also have to tell the public why the bridge connecting Guler and Nandpur has not been built till date. Why is the former MLA giving false assurances to the people of the area about the bridge for six and a half years? What steps did he take to get the bridge built? The former MLA resigned outside the assembly to get his resignation accepted, but never sat on a dharna for the bridge. Due to the non-construction of this bridge, eight to ten panchayats are cut off from each other during the rainy season. People have to travel an additional 20-25 kilometers to come from Guler to Nandpur Bhatoli and Nandpur Bhatoli to Guler. Hoshiyar Singh should apologize to the public that he has failed to live up to public sentiments. By resigning after 14 months, he has given solid proof of his incompetence and involvement in the conspiracy to topple the government. Dr. Rajesh said that after contesting the last election, he remained connected with the people of Dehra. He also got many problems solved. He requests all Congress workers to work unitedly till the voting is over and remain alert to foil the tactics of the BJP.
Dr. Rajesh said that Dehra has now become the home constituency of the Chief Minister, because his wife is contesting elections from here. Now there will be no shortage in the development of Dehra. The problems that have been going on for years will end after July 15. I have a special request to the enlightened people of Dehra to vote as much as possible in favor of Congress candidate Kamlesh Thakur on July 10. If Dehra wins with a big margin, he will get big rewards from Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu.
