Volunteers of Dadgi School learnt the tricks to avoid disaster
In the NSS camp going on for the last five days in Government Senior Secondary School Dadgi, on Thursday, the volunteers were given information about the ways to avoid natural disasters, fire etc. In which the soldiers of the Third Battalion of Home Guard and Civil Defense Shimla, under the chairmanship of NK Verma, gave detailed and practical information to the students about disaster management. To avoid disaster, the students were made aware by organizing a mega mock drill. First aid during disaster, dressing the wounds of the injured, method of extinguishing the fire in case of it were introduced in detail. The school’s Principal Rajendra Verma presided over the program.
Before this, after the volunteers did yoga, Prabhat Ferry was taken out. Hindi spokesperson Vijay Pant said that due to the lack of transport facilities, the rural roads are now closed. In view of this, the volunteers cut the thorny bushes growing on the roads from Dadgi to ITI, Panihana, Dishti, Panjol, Shawali etc. and dug them up to make them walkable. On this occasion, NSS in-charge Dharm Prakash Verma and all the teachers and non-teaching staff were present.
