Vikramaditya honored medalists of national and state level in boxing
Bushahar Boxing Club organized a felicitation program for medals winning in national and state level competitions in boxing at Jal Shakti Department Rampur’s restroom, including Minister of Public Works and Urban Development Vikramaditya Singh as Chief Guest Joined in.
On this occasion, the Minister of Public Works said that in future, this medal-winning will not only make the region but also the name of the state and the country proud. He called on all youngsters to stay away from drugs and also appealed to keep the people around him away from drugs. He said it’s very important to step up sports in today’s time, including physical development as well as mental development. He said the stress in youth today’s times is increasing mental illness and young people are getting drunk and attracted. We have to keep the youth away from drugs and keep them away from the bad habits of society by playing.
He said girls shouldn’t underestimate themselves than boys in any game and participate in every game. They also wished all the players good luck for bright future.
Vikramaditya Singh said that this area is his home and will provide every possible support by the government for the development of this area.
Cabinet Minister honoured Medalists in Boxing Monika Negi, Sunita, Shritima Thakur, Hrithik Manjar, Muskan, Vani, Ashka, Saburi, Stuti, Shivam Negi, Nishant, Nakul, Vandana, Ritika, Chirag, Chesta, Ankit, Srishti Negi and Shruti by giving a memorial symbol.
Tilak Raj Sharma President of Bushhar Boxing Club Rampur welcomed Chief Guest and thanked everyone for giving Sports India Center to Rampur.
