Veteran educationist Prof. R.K. Gupta is no more

Himachal Gyan Vigyan Samiti has expressed deep grief over the demise of renowned and eminent educationist, retired principal and social worker Prof. R.K. Gupta (91) and has expressed its condolences to the bereaved family. State Secretary of Himachal Gyan Vigyan Samiti Satyawan Pundir said that Prof. Gupta breathed his last last night at his residence Engineghar Sanjauli. He said that the Samiti is deeply shocked by the demise of Prof. R.K. Gupta. He said that Prof. Gupta was always aware of the issues of social concern and he had dedicated his entire life for human welfare and social service. Pundir said that the loss caused to the society by the demise of Prof. Gupta is irreparable. The founder president of the committee Dr. Kuldeep Singh Tanwar, the present state president Dr. Om Prakash Bhureta, the district president Gianand Sharma, other office bearers of the committee Naveen Sharma, Suresh Pundir, Seema Chauhan, Hoshiyar Singh, Kapil Sharma, Dr. Reena Singh, Bhumit Thakur, Chaman, retired B.S. Katak, Rameshwar Sharma, P.L. Negi, Sumitra Chandel have also expressed deep condolences on the demise of Prof. Gupta.
