Vendor’s son of a humble background to be an Assistant Professor of Pol Science
Son of a vegetable vendor cracked the National Eligibility Test for Junior Research Fellow and would shortly join as Assistant Professor in Political Science in the college cadre.
After clearing Postgraduate Degrees in Political Science Vishal son of Madan Lal resident of Nurpur Ganoh of Kangra district currently pursuing Ph.D. in Himachal Pradesh University Shimla under the guidance of Dr. Sanjeev Bragta. In the result announced by the HPPSC recently, he was shortlisted to qualify for Assistant Professor in the College cadre.
The journey of Vishal despite belonging to a humble background could not stop him from proving his mettle for the coveted post of College cadre. Mr Vishal’s father used to run a vegetable vendor and whenever there was time, Vishal also used to share his hands with him. Vishal saw a period of struggle, the poverty was so much that he used to the work of catering in marriage functions on holidays from college, and university, and spent his living and studies with that money and at the same time he passed the NET JRF exam.
