United Kisan Morcha will march to H.P. Raj Bhavan on 26th November in support of legal guarantee of minimum support price, complete debt relief of farmers and a memorandum to the President through Governor Will give Along with this, the Governor will also be informed about the problems of agriculture and horticulture of Himachal Pradesh.
On the occasion of Constitution Day, farmers across the country will remind the promises made by the central government to the farmers through the governors of their respective states. It should be noted that after the agitation of the farmers at the national level, the central government had withdrawn three agricultural laws. The farmers had put forward their demands to end the agitation, to fulfill which the central government had expressed its consent. But even after almost a year after the end of the movement, the central government did not take any action on it.
Last year, in a letter written to the Central Government on 21 November 2021, the United Kisan Morcha had attracted the attention of the government towards its 6 pending issues. In response to this, the Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare wrote a letter to the United Kisan Morcha on December 9, 2021, giving assurances from the government on many issues and urged to withdraw the movement. Relying on this letter of the government, the United Kisan Morcha had decided to lift the front and all the protests on the border of Delhi on 11 December 2021. There is a lot of anger among the farmer organizations due to this promise of the Center. United Kisan Morcha is preparing for the second phase of its movement.

1. Based on the recommendation of the Swaminathan Commission, the MSP for all crops with the formula of C2 + 50 percent. Guarantee law should be made. MSP by the Central Government. But the constituted committee and its announced agenda is contrary to the demands presented by the farmers. Canceling this committee, M.S.P. But for the legal guarantee of all crops, with proper representation of the farmers, as promised by the Central Government, S.K.M. Including the representatives of M.S.P. But a new committee should be reconstituted.
2. More than 80 percent of the farmers are trapped in heavy debt and are forced to commit suicide due to rising input costs in agriculture and not getting remunerative prices for their crops. In such a situation, all types of loans of all farmers should be waived off.
3. The Electricity Amendment Bill, 2022 should be withdrawn. In a letter written to the United Kisan Morcha on 9 December 2021, the Central Government had given a written assurance that, “The bill will be introduced in Parliament only after discussion with the Morcha.” Despite this, the central government introduced this bill in the parliament without any discussion.
4. (1) Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra Teni, the main conspirator in the murder of four farmers and a journalist at Tikonia in Lakhimpur Kheri district, should be dismissed from the cabinet and arrested and sent to jail.
(2) The innocent farmers who are imprisoned in the Lakhimpur Kheri massacre should be released immediately and the false cases registered against them should be withdrawn immediately. The government should fulfill its promise of giving compensation to the families of the martyred farmers and the injured farmers.
5. The government should implement comprehensive and effective crop insurance for all crops to compensate for losses due to drought, flood, hailstorm, crop related diseases, etc.
6. The scheme of farmer pension of 5000 per month should be implemented for all medium, small and marginal farmers and agricultural workers.
7. The fake cases which have been filed against the farmers in BJP ruled states and other states during the farmer’s movement should be withdrawn immediately.
8. Compensation should be paid to the families of all the farmers who were martyred during the farmer’s movement and arrangements should be made for their rehabilitation, and land should be allotted for the construction of a memorial for the martyred farmers at Singhu Morcha.
United Kisan Morcha said that through the memorandum, the food provider of the country wants to convey its anger to the government. The Morcha has requested the President to remind the Central Government of its written promises and get the demands of the country’s farmers for complete debt waiver, farmer insurance and farmer pension fulfilled at the earliest.
The United Kisan Morcha has requested the Central Government through the President to stop testing the patience of the farmers. United Kisan Morcha has warned the government that if the government continues to renege on its promises and responsibility towards the farmers, then the farmers will be left with no option but to intensify the agitation.
