Under-14 sports competitions start in Cheong 588 students from 28 schools to take part

Under-14 sports competitions started in Sector Education Block in Government Excellent Senior Secondary School, Chiyog. 588 students from 28 schools of Theog block are participating in this three-day sports competition. Nishant Nag, businessman of the famous Hotel Hip Hip Hurray formally inaugurated the sports competitions. He said that sports are very important in student life, due to which there is physical, intellectual, and mental development of the children, on the other hand, through sports, children get confidence, competition, hard work, and inspiration to move forward. He advised the children to stay away from drugs.
Earlier Principal Sandeep Sharma welcomed the chief guest and gave detailed information about the sports activities. He told that in this three-day sports competition, cultural programs including volleyball, kabaddi, kho-kho, badminton, chess, yoga, shotput, long jump, etc. will be organized.
On this occasion, Zone Coordinator Principal Om Prakash Sharma, Sports Incharge Rajendra Verma, Head of Local Panchayat Dinesh Jagta, Durga Singh Geeta Ram Verma, Former Principal Santosh Verma, Dr. Dayanand Sharma, Laik Ram Sharma, School Management Committee President Yogesh Chandel and Other members Mahila Mandal Jathai, Shivdutt Sharma, Laik Ram Bhandari, Shyam Singh including school staff and physical teachers from different schools were present.
