Una sizzles at 41.6 Degree C

Himachal Pradesh witnessing extreme Heatwave condition as maximum temperature of Una sizzled at 41.6 degree Celsius, highest of this season. A Met Official said that Maximum temperature of Keylong (Lahaul Spiti)  broke on April 10 all previous record as it was 19.8 degrees today compared to previous highest maximum of 19.6 year of April 29, 2012. Today Una was highest of this season as it was 41.6 degrees compared to 40 degrees of yesterday. This Capital Town and Manali was also highest of season at 27, Bilaspur and Sundernagar 37, Mandi and Hamirpur 36.8, Kangea 36.7, Nahan 35.3, Solan and Chamba 34.8, Dharmshala 34 and Dalhousie 25, Kalpa 24.7 degree and Kufri 19.6 degrees and Keylong 18.7 degrees. Met Office forecast rain and thunder showers at isolated places in the state tomorrow which likely to give respite from heatwave.
