Una DC Jatin Lal became a kid with kids
On Wednesday, Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal inaugurated new non-residential training centres in Pandoga-1 and Pandoga-3 under the Haroli subdivision. Prior to this, he inspected the non-residential training centre in Kharuwal to review the arrangements.
During the event, the Deputy Commissioner mingled affectionately with the children, sharing laughs, stories, and life lessons. He emphasized that children’s laughter should always resonate and assured that the district administration is committed to their bright future.
Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal praised the efforts of the Education Reform Committee Espur, which operates 10 non-residential training centres in the Haroli subdivision, educating around 300 migrant children. He also awarded Rs 21,000 to support the committee’s initiatives.
The administration, in collaboration with volunteer organizations, has established these centres to educate children of migrants living in Una district slums. Secretary General of the Education Reform Committee, Suchcha Singh Kang, highlighted that the committee has been active in the education sector since 2006 and has provided 42 teachers to fill vacancies in various schools, ensuring better education for children.
On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner also planted a tree at the Pandoga-1 Training Center as part of the ‘Ek Plant Ma Ke Naam’ campaign.
The event was attended by District Congress Committee President Ranjeet Singh Rana, Secretary General of the Education Reform Committee Suchcha Singh Kang, BDO Haroli Virendra Kaushal, Deputy Tehsildar Ispur Shubh Kaushal, and Pandoga Panchayat Chief Gulwinder Singh Goldy.
