Two Nepal national nab with illicit Opium
Duo of Nepal national carrying illicit Opium in a Punjab Roadways Bus was nabbed at Shoghi outskirt of Shimla in Himachal Pradesh on Saturday police officer confirmed. Superintendent of police Ms Monika Bhutunguru said that a Special Investigation Unit of State Police recovered 2.824 kilogram of Opium from the possession of two persons resident of Nepal at Shoghi in a Punjab Roadways Bus. The accused were booked and arrested under section 18 & 29 of ND&PS Act at Police station West here. Further investigation is ongoing. Both the accused to be produced before court today to seek their police custody to bust the illicit trade of contraband substance.
