Two die 25 others injuried in road mishaps
Two person died and 25 others injuried in two separate road mishap occurred in the district during last 24 hrs in the state, spokesperson of state government said here today. A Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) bus fell into a gorge at around 2:30 pm near Hiranagar outskirt of this capital town on Wednesday. One person died in the accident, while 23 others sustained injures. The bus was coming from Nagrota to Shimla boarding 25 passenger and in attempt to avoid hitting the truck the driver lost control on the ill-fated bus negotiation congested portion of the road. Some people informed the police about it. The rescue party along with fire department immediately reached the spot. DC Shimla Aditya Negi says that the injured have been shifted to IGMC hospital. Two people are still trapped in the bus, the work of evacuation of them are under way. In another mishasp a pickup fell into a derp gorge last evening evening at Chopal in Shimla district. One of the 3 people on board vehicle died on the spo whereas, two others were seriously injured. The injured have been admitted to hospital . After possession of the dead body of the deceased and sent it to the post-mortem house. The body handed over to the relatives after post-mortem today. The illfated pickup was going from Chopal towards Tuni in Uttarakhand. As soon as the pickup reached near Rohana, adjacent to Jhiknipul, it fell into the ditch.
