Truck rams into bus, several injured on highway

Several passengers were injured when an apple laden truck rammed into a private bus  that overturned near Jabli on Parwanoo-Shimla National Highway, on Sunday afternoon.  Preliminary investigations made by police revealed that the private bus  was on way to Kalka, was hit by an apple-laden truck from behind, due to which the bus overturned on the road. After that the truck also  turn turtle on the road .  As many as  20 to 25 passengers were traveling in the bus.  The injured were rushed   to CHC Dharampur.  No casualties have been reported so far.Notably, this is the third case of a bus accident in the last two days.  On Saturday morning, the HRTC bus had fallen into a gorge near Patta-Mehlog, while in the evening near Darlaghat, the bus swung in the air on the parapit due to breaking of the strap of the HRTC bus, but no one was injured, on Sunday. An apple  truck laden also rammed into Kandaghat on Saturday when brakes failed, causing damage to several vehicles.the truck bearing registration number (RJ 14 GJ 1031) suddenly went  uncontrolled and rammed the private bus (HP 51 A 3651) in  from rear side.  Due to the force of the collision, the bus went out of control and overturned on the road.  The overloaded truck also overturned on the road after the collision.  both the vehicles were on way  from Solan towards Kalka.  The injured were immediately taken to the Community Health Center Dharampur.  Dharampur police is investigating the accident.  Police also recorded statements of eyewitnesses. A case has been registered.
