Trio nabbed with the illicit consignment of NDPS in Kangra

 The trio who are residents of Kangra district nabbed with the illicit consignment of Narcotics Drug and Psychotropic Substances at Jassure and Panchrukhi falling under Nurpur and Panchrukhi police stations in Kangra district after Heroin and Charas was seized from them on Saturday.

Police Chief of Kangra district Ms. Shalini Agnihotri stated that Peddlers were intercepted by the anti-drug sleuth of Himachal police from two vehicles on Saturday.  Police naka under Panchrukhi police station  recovered 326 grams of charas from the possession of two accused persons at Chathmi in Kangra district 

.The accused persons were identified as Dilawar Awasthi and Ranjeet Singh both residents of Palampur subdivision of Kangra district. A police investigation was in progress.  A person identified as Avi Katoch resident of Jassure was arrested at Jassure Chatrolig Road falling under Nurpur police station and recovered 6.67 grams of Heroin. Police arrested the accused person under section 21, 25-61-85 NDPS Act, and impounded the car used in the crime.
