Tree plantation program was organized today at Kamla Nehru Hospital in Shimla by the Nirankari Mission
With the divine guidance and blessings of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj and Pujya Nirankari Rajpita Ji, Sant Nirankari Mission started a mega tree plantation project called ‘Forestness Forest’ in 2021 for the conservation of the environment. The aim of this project was to plant and care for a ‘group of trees’ (mini forest), the size of which is now increasing continuously year after year.
In this context, a tree plantation program was organized today at Kamla Nehru Hospital in Shimla, which was presided over by the respected Zonal Incharge Shimla Captain NPS Bhullar ji. The brothers and sisters of Seva Dal actively participated in it.
While sharing the information, Sant Nirankari Mandal Secretary Honorable Shri Joginder Sukhija Ji told that under the first phase of the ‘Oneness One’ project organized in 2021, about one and a half lakh trees were planted all over India. With the same enthusiasm with which these trees were planted by the Nirankari devotees, they were also taken care of throughout the year. As a result, these ‘group of trees’ expanded so much that now it is appearing as a ‘mini forest’. The presence of migratory and rare species of birds is also being seen on these ‘group of trees’, whose existence had almost ended. Undoubtedly, all these creatures are of immense importance in the balance of nature.
In 2022 also, the second phase of the ‘Oneness One’ project was organized with great enthusiasm in which the number of trees increased to around 2 lakhs. After that, their number is increasing continuously year after year and as a result, now around 2.50 lakh trees have been planted which are also being taken care of diligently. To keep these trees fruitful and nourished, the volunteers of the Mission are planting them according to the local climate and geographical environment, in which the best organic fertilizer, clean water and latest techniques of irrigation are used for their protection and growth so that they can develop completely.
To implement this project necessary for social welfare, Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation started the fourth phase of this Mahabhiyan by adding many new places in both rural and urban areas on 11th August, Sunday, in more than 600 places across India in the form of a ‘Massive Tree Plantation Campaign’. All the followers and volunteers of the Mission participated in this and planted about 10 lakh trees and while playing their important role, they will also take care of these trees for three to five years so that they can flourish as ‘mini forests’ like in the first phase.
In the year 2020, the Corona crisis made us all understand the importance of nature’s invaluable gift, Prana Vayu i.e. oxygen, for which the existence of these trees is extremely necessary because the effect of a large number of these trees will not only save the surrounding environment from getting polluted but the local temperature will also remain under control. Nirankari Mission has been playing an important role in ‘environmental protection’ and beautifying the earth by implementing such welfare schemes from time to time.
