Trainees and Instructors took the resolution of cent percent voting
In Vidhan Sabha, 63-Shimla Urban, under the “Systematic Voter Education and Electoral Participation” (SWEP) program, a voter awareness campaign was conducted today at “Industrial Training Institute” Chaura Maidan Shimla. In which all the trainees and instructors of the institute participated on this occasion. Information was given about the election process through the Electoral Literacy Club. The Election Commission of India has made arrangements for voters above 80 years of age and people with disabilities to vote at home. Information on this subject was also given among the students. Param Dev Sharma and Dr. Suresh Kumar Shastri, the nodal officers appointed for 63-Shimla Urban Constituency, gave detailed information about the need and importance of the program to the members and trainees of the Electoral Literacy Club. The goal of the program is to ensure the active participation of every eligible young voter for the strength of democracy. The trainees were called upon to contribute sincerely for the preservation and promotion of democratic values. Through the trainees of the training institute, this message could be conveyed to the masses.
On November 12, all the trainees were administered an oath to ensure that their families and neighbors vote. On this occasion Principal of Industrial Institute Mr. Joginder Sharma, Instructors Mr. Parvinder and Tara Dev Sharma were present
