Traffic jam become regular bottleneck for weekend tourism 

Be it National Highway or state on every weekend Tourist and lock commuters are facing frequent traffic jam in the state especially in Tourist destinations. In Shimla four days weekend Tourist break caused extreme hardships to Tourist  while checking in and out or when they went to sight seeing outside their hotel. Shimla-Charabra, Shimla-Dhalli and Shimla-Mashobra or Kufri is almost locked in traffic jams which last for two to three hours. Aman Rajta told UNI he was at Mashobra on his construction site and it took him two hours to go on the spot and similar time to come back. A Sunder Lal resident of Reog village said that they have to visit a patient who us fighting life and death but they have gone through herculin task as it took them four hours to come from Kufri to Dhalli.In the peak Tourist season traffic police remained deployed on major bottle neck and their strength are extremely poor on the holidays and week Vishal Sarin  told us that traffic jam between Chharbra and Shimla not coming to end however only one policeman is managing long traffic jam in seven kilometers especially when Dhalli sanjauli bye pass. The junction if road is closed for metaling. Local resident who took up and down in Shimla on week ends also face similar traffic problem during checking in time on Saturday and checking out time on Monday during week ends. There is sudden footfalls of tourist in Shimla, Manali Dalhousie and Dharmshala on the weekend as people are rushing to hill station to avoid the scorching heat wave in the plain. There is little hope among hospitality industry to revive from three years of pandemic and poor tourism seasons but if the Administration did not address the traffic issue it would blot the future prospects in the coming time. State capital Shimla witness around one lakh Tourist footfall on every day in the week ends in the summer and winter season.
