Traffic has been blocked due to a road sinking near Machhi Wali Kothi in Shimla

An electricity pole is also hanging on the road, a private two-storey house along the road has been completely destroyed.

The houses below this road were vacant but today they pose a threat to the nearby houses; on the upper side of the road there is an army outhouse.

The house down the road is owned by Sanjay Rai who is a resident of Kolkata.

Machhi Wali Kothi is the private residence of BJP state media in-charge Karna Nanda. There are about 10 houses nearby.

The administration has been informed about this and SP DC Electricity Department is working on it.
