Tourists will get better toilet facilities in tourist destination Kufri

For the convenience of tourists, a toilet has been constructed by the local Gram Panchayat at the world famous place Krifri. Earlier, tourists visiting Kufri had to face a lot of trouble due to lack of toilet facilities. Shashank Atri, Deputy Head of Kufri Shwah Panchayat, said that every year lakhs of tourists come to Kufri to see the unique beauty of nature, but due to lack of toilet facilities, especially women faced a lot of problems. He said that under the Swachh Bharat Mission scheme, an amount of Rs 4 lakh 10 thousand was sanctioned by Deputy Commissioner Shimla Aditya Negi, under which public toilets were constructed. In which two toilets each for men and women have been constructed. He told that in the arrangement of water in the toilets, along with providing free pipes, water was also arranged by SDO Vinod Sharma and JE Rajkumar Sharma of Jal Shakti Department. He told that earlier there was facility of e-toilet in Kufri but these toilets were not successful. Representatives of Kufri Panchayat have expressed gratitude to DC Shimla, BDO Mashobra Ankit Kotia and officials of Jal Shakti and Public Works Department for giving constructive cooperation in the construction of this public toilet
