Three dies, four injured in bus mishap
ATLEAST three persons were killed and four others injured when a private bus in which they were travelling rolled down into deep gorge on Kandaghat – Chail road at Sadhupul in this district, on Saturday.
Solan superintendent of police Virender Sharma said that the ill fated bus was on its way from Solan to Sadhupul and as soon as the it reached near Indira Holiday Home, the drive of the bus no ( HP 64 A-4221) of AK Travelers plunged into 1000 meter deep gorge , leaving one dead on the spot.
He said that injured persons were immediately rushed to Regional Hospital Solan where tow others succumbed to injuries. A total of seven persons including driver and conductor were travelling in the bus. A case has been registered.
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has expressed grief over the bus accident in Sadhupul-Kandaghat in district Solan today in which three persons lost their life while three others sustained injuries.
Chief Minister has expressed sympathies with the family members of the deceased. He has also wished speedy recovery of the injured.
