Three die and two injured in car mishap in Kasauli

Three persons died on the spot and two other injured seriously when a Hunyadi car in which they were travelling rolled down into deep gorge near Jangeshu village on Kasauli – Parwanoo road under Kasauli police station in this district, early morning today.

 The deceased were identified as Suraj Thakur, resident of Abhipur village near Nalagarh, Shubham, resident of Nalagarh and Sangam, resident of Kurukshetra in Haryana. The injured youth were immediately rushed to ESI hospital Parwanoo.

 Preliminary investigations made by police revealed that the all five occupants of the ill-fated car number HP12 H- 6577 were on way from Kasauli to Parwanoo. As soon as the vehicle reached near Jangeshu village, the driver of the car suddenly lost control over the vehicle and fell down into deep gorge, leaving three dead on the spot. The villagers after noticing the mishap informed the police that arrived on the spot and started the investigations. The cause of the accident could not be ascertained immediately.  A case has been registered.
