There was a BJP tsunami in Hamirpur before which the Congress leadership could not stand
BJP State General Secretary Bihari Lal Sharma said that BJP registered a big victory in the Lok Sabha elections in the state and the number of BJP seats in the Lok Sabha from the state increased from three to four. BJP retained all the four Lok Sabha seats by defeating Congress in Mandi parliamentary seat.
He said that Congress kept criticizing the central government and the public approved the leadership of PM Modi. If we look closely, many big leaders of the state government come from Hamirpur parliamentary constituency, including the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister. In Hamirpur, Congress gave Lok Sabha ticket to its favorite candidate, all the Congress leaders campaigned vigorously in the area, but despite all these failed efforts, Congress had to face defeat. Congress’s defeat in Hamirpur is a big question mark on the leadership of Congress, even the Chief Minister could not give Congress an edge in his own assembly seat. So this means that there was a BJP tsunami in Hamirpur, in front of which the Congress leadership could not stand.
He said that in the by-elections also, 3 by-elections were held in Hamirpur district and Congress had to face defeat in 2 by-elections. In Hamirpur, Ashish got the blessings of the people and Indra Dutt Lakhanpal won from Barsar. The government did a lot of false propaganda but still could not win. Even today, the people of Barsar are looking for Rs 25 lakh which the Chief Minister himself had claimed to have received. Despite repeated questions from the BJP, the government has not answered that question till date.
He said that Congress lost even after winning because the Congress leadership could not save its own stronghold. BJP reached 4 in Lok Sabha and 28 in Vidhan Sabha, on the other hand Congress party could not be seen even with binoculars in Lok Sabha and reached 43 to 40 in Vidhan Sabha.
It is well known who won, but who lost is only Congress.
