There are no beds for patients in state hospitals, neither ultrasound nor tests, BJP did nothing for five years: AAP

Aam Aadmi Party’s state president Surjit Thakur issued a statement saying that the health facilities in Bilaspur, the home district of BJP national president JP Nadda, are in bad shape. The people of Bilaspur have to carry patients on their shoulders and take them to the hospital. There is neither ultrasound facility in the hospitals nor the facility of test is available to the patients. The posts of doctors have not been filled. If the double engine government of BJP fails to provide health facilities in the home district of National President Nadda, then what will happen to other districts in the state can be guessed from this. Now seeing the elections, the Jairam government is inaugurating the incomplete AIIMS. AIIMS is yet to have equipment for the treatment of patients, doctors and paramedical staff have not been recruited and the BJP government is inaugurating it. The inauguration of AIIMS is an election stunt of the BJP government. But the people of the state are seeing the plight of health facilities from every district to the village. BJP’s election stunt misleading the public is not going to work.

Surjit Thakur said that the health facilities in the state’s most hospital IGMC as well as the district hospitals are in bad shape. Two patients are made to lie on one bed. The date for ultrasound is given after two months. Ultrasound machine is lying in the medical college of Chamba. Thousands of posts of para medical along with doctors are vacant in civil hospitals and dispensaries. The Jai Ram government of the state has neither been able to recruit doctors nor have better medical equipment been installed in the hospitals. Due to which the people of the whole state are not getting health facilities. Jairam government has not remembered to provide better health facilities to the people for five years. Now at the time of elections, we are inaugurating half-completed AIIMS, in which there are neither doctors nor machines for the treatment of patients. The people of the state are no longer going to be misled. The Aam Aadmi Party has given a guarantee to provide better and free health facilities to the people of the state. After the formation of the Aam Aadmi Party government in the state, better hospitals will be built on the Delhi model and Mohalla clinics will be opened, in which all the people of the state will get better health facilities.
