Senior BJP leader and Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur said that the white paper brought by Congress is a bundle of lies like 10 guarantees. This white paper clearly shows that Congress has started a new chapter of lies.

He said that all the figures given in the white paper are false, wrong and beyond the truth. We want to remind the Congress Party that this mismanagement started during the Congress rule from 1993 to 1998 when Congress had taken a loan of Rs 1000 crore from the market in the name of Electricity Board, the rates of which were very high. There was no justification for this loan.
During the Congress rule from 2012 to 2017, a loan of more than Rs 20,000 crore was taken, there was no need for it. During the BJP government, we have faced an epidemic like Covid. We clearly say that this white paper should be picked up and thrown in the dustbin.

In 2017, when BJP came to power, we paid the three DA installments of 2016 and 2017 of the Congress era, which were about 18 percent, and also gave another 3%. Perhaps the Congress party does not see this.

From 2012 to 2017, Congress Party had taken a huge loan which is the highest in its history till date, this loan had increased from Rs 28000 crore to Rs 47000 crore, if we see the jump then it is 66%. During its tenure, the Congress government had to pay Rs 9000 crore to the employees of the state, which was given by the BJP government and also this government did not follow the FRBM Act.

He said that if we talk about GST compensation, it was given for five years in the entire country and Himachal is no different. The Congress party is only misleading the public by lying.
If we want to take Himachal Pradesh forward then we have to get something done, an amount of Rs 10 crore was given by the Central Government for the Global Investor Meet which they have loved to hide. During our tenure, two ground breaking ceremonies took place in which MoUs worth Rs 13000 crore were signed in Shimla and MoUs worth Rs 28000 crore were signed in Mandi. So far, more than Rs 8000 crore projects have come on the ground. When Mukesh Agnihotri himself was the Industry Minister during the tenure of the Congress government, he also held an inverter meeting but did not get even a single MoU signed from them.

Under UPA 1 and 2, the railway budget was only Rs 108 crore, but today it has increased 17 times to Rs 1838 crore. The Congress party should see that this is not visible. Bilaspur Ghonupalli line is its big salvation.
We made great efforts in connecting Himachal Pradesh by air, rail and road. There used to be an earmark of Rs 1000 crore every year for Mandi Airport, but now it has been heard that this government is using this money somewhere else. The work of expansion of Kangra Airport has also started in our government. Money comes only when the land acquisition work is completed, complete it and take Rs 400 crore.

Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh has started schemes in his own name but we did not register any objection, if any scheme is implemented then money will be spent. If you feel that you want to save money then cancel your own schemes also.
The surprising thing is that the entire staff was also present in the institutions that we had opened for development work. After closing them, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh is busy reopening them and installing plaques in his name.

Regarding the excise policy, they also lied and promised a 40% increase, today the increase is only 13%. During the previous tenure too, there was a higher increase and now these people are talking about going to court.

If we talk about hydel policy, we can say with certainty that no investor wants to come to Himachal Pradesh, if we had given some relaxation to SJVNL then it was in the interest of Himachal and not in harm’s way. The hydel capacity of Himachal Pradesh is 23000 crore MW, out of which only 11000 crore MW has been used so far.

We took a loan of Rs 39014 crore but the fact is that we repaid Rs 38275 crore including interest.

BJP’s Janam Manch was the most effective program, we went from village to village and solved the problems of the people. 258 Jan Manch were organized in which more than 45000 complaints were received and more than 60% of the complaints were redressed.
