The present Congress government has not spent the disaster funds given by the Center in full: Bhatt
Senior BJP leader and Union Minister of State for Defense and Tourism Ajay Bhatt participated in the Kasumpati Panna Pramukh Conference.
In his address, he said that the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi is not only the country’s but also the world’s most popular leader and ever since he became the Prime Minister, the prestige of the country has increased on the map of the entire world.
He said that from 2004 to 2014 there was a period of destruction and from 2014 to 2024 there was an immortal period. When the Congress government was in power in the country, the country moved backwards and ever since Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister of the country, the country has progressed at a fast pace. During the 10-year tenure of the Congress government (2004-14), the country’s economy, roads, railways and foreign direct investment were in a bad state, whereas after 2014, during the 10-year tenure of the Modi government, India is poised to become the fifth largest economy in the world. Since then, new dimensions of development have been established in every field. The number of startups in the Congress government was only 350, whereas in the Modi government the number of startups increased to 1,17,257. Under the Congress government, the Indian economy was counted among Fragile-5, whereas under the Modi government, India became the fifth largest economy in the world.
He said that Himachal too has not remained untouched in terms of progress. Himachal Pradesh got many gifts like AIIMS, Hydro Engineering College, IIM, PGI Satellite Centre, Bulk Drug Park, Medical Device Park, Fourlane National Highway, Renuka Hydro Project, Sunni Hydro Project and IIT.
Disaster struck Himachal Pradesh and soon after, BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda made two visits to Himachal Pradesh. During this period, Himachal Pradesh received Rs 1782 crore as disaster relief amount, but the Himachal government did not utilize this amount properly and till date this amount has not been fully spent.
Corruption and nepotism were promoted even in the disaster amount, this has never happened in Himachal Pradesh till date. This is the first government in Himachal Pradesh which will be known for mismanagement.
On this occasion, BJP candidate Suresh Kashyap, State Organization General Secretary Siddharthan, General Secretary Bihari Lal Sharma, Rajya Sabha MP Harsh Mahajan, former Minister Suresh Bhardwaj, Roop Das Kashyap, District President Prem Thakur, former MP Virendra Kashyap, Balbir Verma were present.
