Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur said that connectivity is an important issue in Himachal Pradesh and the Central Government has always given priority to Himachal regarding connectivity.
He said that recently, 3 big railway projects of Himachal Pradesh got Rs. 1902 crores under the Union Budget, this is a big gift for Himachal Pradesh and we especially thank the Central Government for this.
A provision of 1000 crores was made by the Central Government for Bhanupali Bilaspur Rail Project, similarly a provision of 450 crores was made for Chandigarh Baddi Rail Project and 452 crores for Nangal Talwara.
This is a great gift for Himachal Pradesh and the Bhanupali-Bilaspur-Leh rail line is also very important from a strategic point of view.
He said that the work of 63 kilometer long rail track of Bhanupali Bilaspur rail line is going on at a fast pace, 21 major bridges are to be built in this project, out of which the work of five bridges is going on and the design of 16 is almost ready and 20 tunnels under it. The construction work is also to be done.
He said that ultra-modern facilities would be developed at Baijnath, Paprola, Palampur and Amb Andaura railway stations in Himachal Pradesh under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.
For this also we would like to thank the Central Government.
Good work is also going on in Himachal Pradesh from the point of view of National Highway. The construction work of Kiratpur Manali, Mandi Pathankot, Nalagarh Swarghat, Parmanu Shimla, Chakki Matour Shimla, Mubarakpur Amb Nadaun and Paonta Sahib-Kama Amb National Highway is going on at a fast pace. Is.
Kiratpur Nerchowk four-laning work is also going on at a fast pace, in which 5 tunnels, 22 main bridges and 14 minor bridges will be ready soon.
Under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana also, our government had sent a DPR of 422 crores to the central government, whose approval was received on 22 October 2022. Apart from this, rural connectivity in Himachal Pradesh increases significantly.
Recently, the central government has increased the budget of Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana by 36% in the budget, in this Himachal Pradesh will also get a good budget.
