Sweltering heatwave hit many places of Himachal Pradesh on Sunday as Mercury galloped many degrees above normal in the state, The Met Office said in a press release unabatted heatwave is continuing in Himachal Pradesh since last two weeks as day temperature soaring six to seven degrees above the normal with scroching heat wave. The snow starred thawing rapidly in the high reaches and BRO is already on the final phase of removing snow from the Baralacha and Sarchu in Lahaul Spiti. To save them from unusal sweltering heatwave of plane Tourist resort Shimla, Kufri, Manali and Dalhousie having surge in the footfall on the week ends. Maximum temperature of Una went up to 35.4 degree Celsius on Sunday, Mandi and Bilaspur 34, Hamirpur 33, Dharmshala(Kangra), Nahan(Sirmour), Chamba and Solan 31, Shimla and Kalpa ( Kinnau 23 and Keylong (Lahaul-Spiti) 17.4 degrees. Met Office forcast dry weather and Heat wave in isolated pockets of Shimla, Mandi and in next two days.
