SV & ACB arrests four involved in JOA paper leak case
State Vigilance and Anti-corruption Bureau nabbed four person today who are involved in paper leak of Junior Office Assistance (Information Technology) examination a press release issued by SV&ACB confirmed. Spokesperson of SV&ACB, said that a complaint was received at SV & ACB PS Hamirpur that a person named Sanjay alias Sanjeev ( tout ) has contacted the complainant with an offer to provide him question papers for the upcoming JOA IT exams to be held on 25/12/22 for Rs. 250000. The facts were verified and found to be substantiated. On 23/12/22 a trap team along with independent witnesses was constituted by SV & ACB Police station Hamirpur. Sanjay ( tout ) again contacted the complainant to meet him at NIT Hamirpur and took him to the house of Uma Azad ( Sr. Supt secrecy branch HPSSC ) situated at housing board colony Hamirpur . She along with her son Nikhil Azad provided the question papers. SV & ACB team apprehended them with cash and the question papers. The case has been registered in Police Station SV & ACB Hamirpur which is being further investigated. Two more candidates who had made online payments to the tout have also been apprehended.
