Summer  closing schools of Una Distt. to operate from 9.30 to 3.00pm

Una District of Summer closing Schools in Himachal Pradesh which remained open  in winter would operate from 9.30 am to 3 pm. The decision to new school schedule fixed after coldwave intensified during early morning and afternoon.  Timings would effect all government and private schools in Una district  from Friday onward  as per the orders of the Deputy Commissioner, Raghav Sharma. The Deputy Commissioner said that keeping in view the health safety of the school children due to continuous extreme cold in the district, the administration has taken this decision after the recommendation of the Deputy Director Elementary and Higher Education Departments. Sharma said that the compensation for the reduced time will be accomplished by abolishing prayer meeting and meal time. He informed that this order will be applicable from today till January 31, 2023 in all primary, secondary and senior secondary schools in government and private sector of the district.
