Sukhu is trying to mislead the public with false allegations: Suresh Kashyap
Seeing the election wave in favour of BJP in Himachal Pradesh, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu is in a panic. Despite being in a responsible position, he is making insensitive statements, which shows that he has still not risen above the mentality of student politics. Bharatiya Janata Party Lok Sabha MP and candidate Suresh Kashyap said during a public relations program that sensing his possible defeat, the Chief Minister of the state has made baseless allegations against the Barsar MLA and is trying to confuse the public by repeatedly telling lies in his public meetings, which clearly shows his panic. Chief Minister Sukhu has said in his public meetings that Rs 55 lakh has been recovered in Barsar. We request him to present evidence in support of this claim. If this amount has actually been recovered, then it should have been deposited in the state treasury. The administration has no information about this matter as to where and from whom this money was received.
MP Suresh said that the Chief Minister has realized that the Congress will face a crushing defeat in the upcoming Lok Sabha and Himachal Pradesh by-elections. Due to this, the Congress leaders are making panicky statements and making false, baseless allegations. The Congress is only trying to vitiate the political atmosphere and divert the attention of the public through such acts.
He said that Chief Minister Sukhu’s government has not been able to do any development work in the last 16 months and is cheating the public. The mothers and sisters of Himachal are still waiting for the amount of Rs 1500 per month. Farmers are still waiting for the purchase of cow dung at Rs 2 per kg and milk at Rs 100 per liter. The youth are waiting for 5 lakh jobs, and the public is waiting for 300 units of free electricity. To divert the attention of the public from this failure, the Chief Minister and Congress leaders are making false allegations.
Kashyap said that the Chief Minister’s order to surround BJP candidate Sudhir Sharma’s house with more than 200 police personnel is highly condemnable. The government has resorted to hooliganism, the Chief Minister is doing low-level politics and is engaged in the politics of personal revenge. The raids on the shops of BJP workers are also proof of this. The Congress government of the state is also facing big allegations regarding the Old Pension Scheme (OPS). The government is going to cut the amount of OPS after the Lok Sabha elections. At present, employees get 50 percent of their salary as pension on retirement, but now it is proposed to reduce it to 30 percent. There is a conspiracy to play with the employees, which is highly condemnable
