Sukhu government to complete its full term : Congress

Adopting a strong position against the six members of the assembly who were disqualified today central observer stated that there was no place for indiscipline in the Congress and MLAs defying the party whip and destabilizing the government could not be pardoned.

The speaker decides to disqualify the six MLAs on the floor of the house and how the is BJP affected by it. The action of six MLAs was due to action on the floor of the house, in front of the speaker this is recorded in the Camera. 

This was stated by Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka Dr S K Shivkumar and former Chief Minister of Haryana Bhupendra Singh Hooda while addressing a press conference at the Chief Minister’s residence in Oakover here today.

Addressing the press conference Mr Kumar said that the decision to disqualify the highest court of land Vidhansabha speaker verdict couldn’t be questioned and no one would intervene in the matter.

He said that the decision was taken by the chief whip or parliamentary affairs minister to challenge the action of six members of the assembly after they had indulged in the defying of the whip twice.

He said that the party accepted the defeat with the humiliation of the Rajya Sabha election in which the very senior leader of the country lost the election.

He said that Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu accepted that some failure had happened and that this would not continue further .  

” After the Party sent the four observers here they spoke to all the MLAs personally, the PCC chief and Chief Minister and again met with them to sort out all the differences. ” Mr Kumar informed 

“We will see that in the Lok Sabha election party would come out with a good number and  a coordination committee  would be formed to coordinate between the party and government having five to six members including the PCC chief, CM, Deputy CM, and other members would announced from Delhi.”

He said that all of them had assured and taken oaths at any time to save the party and government however There were a lot of attempts from the BJP to create the news but the number could be seen and the government still enjoyed the majority mark.

Everyone is united here and the Chief Minister agreed that he would take everybody together and the PCC chief assured that he assured solid support to the government and that the party and government would work together.

He said that MLA is united and no Operation Lotus here. 

Former Chief Minister Bhupender Singh Hood also said that the party and Chief Minister and PCC are committed to working together and a coup to destabilise or topple the Congress government failed.

He said that the decision was made that no internal matter of the party and government would be made public by the  party workers and MLA and Minister by going to media in an individual capacity.

He said that it is hypothetical that he would be sitting chief minister as he would continue for the next five years. All MLAs wanted the Congress government to complete the term of five years under the leadership of Mr Sukhu.

He said that he was proposed chief minister by the party high command the name of Mr Sukhu. They are doing a lot of operations they are doing daily. 

HPCC chief Pratibha Singh said that she is deeply hurt that the party could not save the Rajaya Sabha seat and an eminent lawyer of the country was made the candidate from the state who lost the election. She said that now there is a Lok Sabha election shortly.

 “We have spoken during the meeting with central observers that it would increase the number of seats in the coming Lok Sabha elections we would already do work by going in the field. ” She stated 

The party is strong and if there are small issues were sorted out. The question of pressure groups between the party would be sorted out in the coordination committee and both the government and party would be sorted out, she added.

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that the Rajya Sabha election was in a tie and a draw was declared in the favour of the BJP. 

The chief minister said that the incident of defection did not happen earlier. During the Assembly session, news was put in his mouth without his knowledge that I had tendered my resignation. 

The news was under a conspiracy to reduce the number in the house to defeat the money bills. BJP has 25 members and three independent MLAs are with the BJP; we are assured of the number on our side. 

They want topple the government by defeating the government by creating confusion in the Congress legislative party, The chief minister alleged.

“CPRF and Haryana police came here they came up to the gate of Vidhan Sabha and tried to dislodge the gate of Vidhan Sabha. The 15 BJP MLA misbehaved with the Marshal and was suspended by the speaker .” The chief minister added.

” Their behavior was not up to the mark. However, ten remaining members of  BJP who were not suspended and three other independent MLAs could oppose the money bills but they walked out from the assembly including six Congress MLAs .” mr Sukhu said.

 Congress members who were with the BJP also taken to Haryana by the BJP are still there. He said that it was to dislodge the government and speaker action to disqualify the six MLAs based on their violation of whip and they defied the whips.

He said that the conspiracy had been hatched to topple the government but this government of people would last for the next 5 years. The people of the assembly constituency would teach the lesson to the disqualified MLAs. 

We wanted to say that the member of MLAs who were disqualified tried to contact and wife of two MLAs who are in Haryana also came to his home and they did not report in their home, CM said.
