Students Association Fagu and Theog organized a cultural program at the Gaiety Theatre Shimla
A cultural program was organized by the Fagu-Theog students organization at Gaiety Theatre on Friday. Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh participated in the program as chief guest. The program was inaugurated by Ardhi Association President Harish Thakur participated as a special guest.
Vikramaditya spoke about how Himachal was recovering from the devastation caused by floods and how the state government was reviving the economy. In his message, he spoke about the current government’s initiatives for providing employment and entrepreneurship opportunities to the youth of Himachal. He emphasized the need for equitable growth for the overall development of the state.
The program started with Saraswati Vandana. After this, dance was performed on the songs Surmaniye Ho Meri Surmaniye, Banka Mulka Himachala, and Kalia Ro Hando Re. In this, Naveen, Anuj, Karthik, Sumit, Satvik, Yetendra, Naveen, Ayush, Raksha, Ashika, Shreya, Muskaan, Simran, Subhagini, Muskaan and Sakshi gave a brilliant performance. Shreya, Muskaan, Mahima, Ishita, Aditi, Shrishti, and Sneha danced to Punjabi songs. Kathak, cultural dance, Hollywood, and Bollywood were also presented by the students of the student organization.
The main attraction in the program was the performance of Nati King Kuldeep Sharma. Kuldeep entertained the audience by singing plays in Pahari style after. Meanwhile upcoming singer Pankaj Thakur with his trending song ‘Pulsiye Rey Ghasse’ made the evening memorable. Pankaj also requested the youth to avoid drugs.
On this occasion, Municipal Corporation Mayor Surendra Chauhan, Tikka Digvijay Chand, Dr. Ramlal, Anil Semwal, Engine Ghar Councillor Ankush Verma, and Rajesh Kanwar were present as special guests. Apart from this, Association Chairman Jagdeep Thakur, Organizer Abhishek Chandel, Advisor Himanshu Sharma, President Ashish Verma, Vice President Raksha and Sakshi, and other organization members were present in the program.
