If the stipulated time period is not followed at any level, strict action can be taken against the concerned officer. If the case is above Rs.6 crore at the level of Chief Engineer, 10 days are earmarked for receiving tenders, 7 days at the level of Executive Engineer, 5 days at the level of Superintending Engineer and 8 days at the level of Chief Engineer for processing. went.
