South East Asian women are breaking the glass ceiling – A Pakistani woman scaled Mt Annapurna
Leaving behind the patriarchy of the medieval era, south Asian women are breaking the glass ceiling as they shackle the chains of their subjugation they are progressing the modern civilization standing beside men shoulder to shoulder.
An Indian daughter and Mountaineer Baljeet Kaur defeated the Nepal mountain, Annpurna yesterday as she made a successful attempt to scale it without Oxygen today there is another breakthrough, a Pakistani woman scaled Mt Annapurna by unfurling her country’s flag.
Information shared with us by Everest Today’s Facebook page stated that Naila Kiani, the first Pakistani woman climbed the summit of Annapurna I (8091 m). Kiani achieved this feat on April 17, 2023.
