Soical pension to all above 60yrs
Irrespective of Economic criteria, Himachal Pradesh government notified state Social Security Pension or Allowance to provide benifit of old age persons and other categories after attaining age above 60 yrs. Himachal Governor issued a notfication in this regard here today to the amending concernedrules . Now with effect of April 1, 2020, Old Age Pension(OaP) to be provide to such old person attained age of sixty years or more without any income limit. OaP to men in the age group of 60-69 and women in 60-64 yrs would be Rs.1000 per month. OaP to women in the age group of 65-69 would under Swarna Jayanti Nari Sambal Yojna Rs.1150 pm and senior citizens of age 70 yrs and above Rs.1700 pm. Now Widow, Abandoned, Single Woman Pension or Disability Relief Allowance(DRA) (40-69 percent disability), to be paid at the rate Rs.1150 pm, DRA to 70 pc or more disabled would be Rs.1700 pm. Leprosy Rehabilitation Allowance and Transgender benifciary Rs.1000 pm. All such categories need no condition of income limit, should have age certificate, document or medical proof along with their application. They could directly apply to the concerned Tehsil Welfare Officer or District Welfare Officer office along with a copy of undertaking without approval of the concernec Gram Sabha.
