SNS goes to groundzero to resolve public vagaries
In void of have no elected local self goverment in British Raj day town, Shimla Nagarik Sabha going to ground zero to resolved the public vagaries like water, garbage and sanitation etc. SNS convenor of Sangti and Malayan wards submitted a memorandum to Commissioner of Shimla MC seeking to resolve the problems of Sangti and Malyana Ward. Door to door collection of garbage was demanded to follow in the Sangti/Malyana Ward. They said that people are facing huge problems due to cleanliness, water, street light, roads and garbage in the ward every day.
Nagrik Sabha appeal Commissioner to resolve the problem of water is increasing continuously in Malyana and Shanahan as residents are geting water only on the third day of the round the year. Due to the order of MC to give water on the third day. They alarmed that water being contaminated more with mixing of sewerage has started coming in the water. Water should be given daily in the main tank by MC and when the water in Shurala pump is dirty then it should not be picked up because the possibility of getting sewerage in this water increases, this water goes into the main tank and clean water also gets contaminated . Water supply should be provided in the ward every day. Garbage is being thrown openly in Malyana, Shanahan, Dhobighat, Bakhrai, Navbahar and Balai, Sangti, HB Colony, there is a piles of garbage in which the garbage spreads, there should not be thrown garbage in the open and garbage from the houses daily be picked up daily.The construction of toilets is incomplete in Malyana, people do toilets outside, due to which heavy filth is spreading here, toilets should be constructed soon. Due to which the risk of spreading the epidemic increases. Sangti to Malyana, Chhota Shimla to Bakhrai, Flowerdale to Malyana all pedestrian routes have been turned into potholes, the roads should be repaired immediately. Shimla Nagarik Sabha appeals to you to solve the problems immediately so that the people of the ward can get relief from these problems. If these problems are not resolved soon, then they will decide the course movement.
