Snowfall likely on X-mass & New year in high reaches of Himachal
Tourist who wants to visit state on eve of Christmas and New year may see weather surprise ad Indian Metalogical Department forecast rain or snowfall on December 25 at high reaches in high altitude areas of Chamba, Lahaul-Spiti, In Kinnaur and Kullu district. Issuing Weekly forecast local Spokesperson of IMD forecast that there are chances of light rainfall or snowfall in the high hill of Chamba, Lahaul-Spiti, Kinnaur and Kullu from late night of 25th December. Chances of white Christmas and new year eve is bleak in major tourist destination baring Manali of Kullu, Kaza and Keylong of Lahaul-Spiti. Moderate to dense fog likely to occur at isolated pockets in low hills and plains of state and cold wave with dry weather conditions continue for next 3 days. Minimum temperature plummet to season lowest as Keylong freezes at minus 7.4 degree Celsius, Kukumseri of Lahual minus 8, Kaza minus 12, Kalpa minus 3.4, Manali minus 0.4, Solan and Mandi Zero degree, Una 3.4, Shimla 4, Kangra 4.6, Chamba 2.6, Hamirpur 2.5 , Bilaspur 5, Dalhousie 4, Kufri 3, and Dharmshala 6 degrees.
