Six sustain injuries after washing away in rain water
In a monsoon rain six suffered injuries after heavy monsoon rain after School students trapped in the flash flood in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh this afternoon. State disaster Management authority spokesperson said that around 4 pm on Saturday four children on their way home from Gudah School of Mandi district took shelter in a wooden shed belonged to to resident Mrs. Champa Devi and Ravikant, stayed to save themselves from the rain. Suddenly they got washed away in the heavy flow of water. Mrs.Champa Devi and Sh. Ravi kant risked their lives to save all the children., Mrs. Champa Devi has minor injured and other five have major injured. The injured were brought to Civil Hospital Karsog where they are undergoing treatment. An Injured Person identified as Punam D/o Lal Singh R/o Khadech PO Shanker Dehra,Tehsil Thunag, Mandi HP. Mannvi D/o Lal Singh, Muskan D/o Inder, R/o Khadech, Litesh S/o Inder Singh ( same Village) and Ravi S/o Tek Chand, resident of Naghinal and Champa R/o Khadech. Rs4,000 each has been provided by the administration to the families of all the injured.
