SIU seizes massive consignment of narcotics in Sirmaur

The Special investigation unit of District Sirmaur Police of Himachal Pradesh has  arrested a drug smuggler, making seizure of  9 kg 824 grams of charas from him.  SP Sirmaur Raman Kumar Meena said that the accused has been identified as Prempal, a resident of Dodra Kwar district Shimla. SP said that  Charas was being carried from the vehicle when police recovered the huge catchy on the basis of information. The SIU laid a trap to intercept the accused at Dhaula Kuan.  Police immediately arrested the car driver and registered a case. The police have started investigation by registering a case against the accused under the NDPS Act.
