Shrimad Bhagwat and Panchkudiya Vishnu Mahayagya started in Cheekar with Kalash Yatra
Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran Katha and Panchkudiya Vishnu Mahayagya started with Kalash Yatra on Thursday at the playground of Cheekar of Gram Panchayat Satlai of Mashobra Block. Hundreds of women and people from different areas participated in it. In this eight-day Mahayagya, the role of Vyas is being played by the famous storyteller and great scholar Vijay Bhardwaj, who will make the listeners listen to the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha every day. Organizing committee officials Rajendra Sharma, Ravi Thakur and Ramswaroop Sharma said that in this Mahayagya, 21 Pandits will ensure their participation in performing various rituals.
He told that this Maha Yagya is being done for natural Shat Doshas like earthquake, tremor, excessive rain, drought, epidemic, incurable disease, ghost and spirit suffering and for world peace. Various rites will also be done in this Maha Yagya which includes child’s name naming ceremony, Annaprasan, Chudakaran, Karnabhedha, Yajnopaveet, adult marriage ceremony, special fast Udyaapan which includes Udyaapan of Poornamasi, Karva Chauth, fasts of Saptvar will also be done free of cost. He has appealed to the people to contribute generously in this Maha Yagya.
