Shimla hosts seminar to uphold peace and communal harmony
In a concerted effort to promote peace and unity in Himachal Pradesh, numerous democratic and progressive organizations from Shimla came together under the banner of the Himachal for Peace and Harmony Forum. The event, held at Bindra Raj Dharamshala in Shimla, brought together distinguished speakers and attendees committed to preserving communal harmony and the state’s secular values.
The seminar was addressed by prominent figures, including CPI(M) Politburo member Subhashini Ali, Forum convener Dr. Kuldeep Singh Tanwar, Mufti Mohammad Shafi Kasmi, Rakesh Singha, and Vijendra Mehra. It was attended by activists, intellectuals, and local leaders who collectively pledged to protect the state’s democratic and constitutional principles.
