Shayan Abdul Jeeshan of St. Thomas Schoo invented Him Drone

Youth are the base to the foundation of ‘Bharat’ and can contribute immensely to the development process of the Nation besides, the teachers also play an important role in channelizing and giving the right direction to energetic and skills of the youth. This was stated by Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla after he launched Him Drone and Shayata e-commerce app at an event organized today at St. Thomas School, Shimla.

He lauded the efforts of  Shayan Abdul Jeeshan, a student of St. Thomas School, who invented Him Drone and said that it was undoubtedly a noteworthy achievement and calls for the praise of Principal Vidhu Priya Chakravarti, teachers, and parents of the student.

The Governor said that due to the globalization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital education, the traditional field of education has seen significant changes. He added that with a positive mindset and skills, youth play a pivotal role in the development of the country. He congratulated  Shayan for receiving Aisa’s Young Entrepreneur award for his unparalleled achievement and skills.  This drone was made with minimum capital investment and hopefully, it will inspire other students as well. The other app, Shayata e-commerce, will also prove helpful to provide aid to the family members of those who died in the Odisha train accident.

Shri Shukla said that making India self-reliant was a dream of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and students like Shayan are helping in making his dream realized. He asked the teachers to provide appropriate platforms to the students where they can exhibit their talent and contribute to making society advanced and better.

Principal Vidhu Priya Chakravarti welcomed the Governor and thanked him for his gracious presence.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Shayata e-commerce company, Vice-Chairperson of St. Thomas School, principal of various government and non-government schools, senior officers of various departments, teachers, and students of St. Thomas School were present on the occasion.
