SFI Mandi submitted a memorandum regarding student demands for hostel, bus pass etc
Today the SFI Mandi College unit submitted a memorandum to the principal regarding student demands .
The SFI raised the demand that around 7,000 students study inside the college but the administration has failed to provide hostel facilities to the students. Due to which the students have to study by taking expensive rented rooms in Mandi. And the students are facing problems financially and mentally. SFI raised the demand that hostel facility should be provided to all the students.
SFI Campus Principal Vikrant Secretary Nikhil raised the demand that every day students have to wander in the bus stand to make bus passes inside the college campus, but the administration is not ready to take any care nor is it ready to take any initiative. So that students can be given some relief. SFI raised the demand that the facility of permanent bus pass counter should be provided inside the campus so that students do not have to leave their studies and stand in long queues at the bus stand to get the bus pass. The SFI raised the demand that the bus pass counter should be set up inside the campus as soon as possible considering the demand of the students.
With this, the SFI raised the demand that the vacant posts of teachers inside the campus should be filled immediately so that the students can continue their studies smoothly. Apart from this, cleanliness of toilets, lack of parking facilities in the college and the problems arising out of it should be taken care of. was also prominently placed before the administration.
SFI warned the administration that if positive initiatives are not taken regarding these demands at the earliest, then within the coming time SFI will go inside the movement.
