SFI issued a press release against corruption in fake professor recruitment in the university and violation of High Court verdict
SFI Himachal Pradesh University unit issued a press release saying that during the Corona period, professor recruitments were done in the university by former Vice Chancellor Sikandar Kumar. After that, SFI is continuously questioning these recruitments and is alleging that these recruitments were done illegally. There has been educational corruption on a very large scale.
A case related to these recruitments came up in the Mathematics Department of Himachal Pradesh University and reached the High Court.
After that, the Himachal Pradesh High Court gives its verdict on this recruitment in which the recruitment of two professors is cancelled by the Hon’ble High Court. Despite that, a copy of the order reaches Himachal Pradesh University. It has been almost a month now but Till now those orders have not been implemented nor have those professors been expelled from the university which raises questions on the administrative system of the university. For a long time now it has been seen inside the university that the university is ignoring the honorable The decisions of the High Court are being continuously disregarded.
SFI is demanding that the Vice Chancellor of the University should quickly implement the decision given by the High Court.
SFI is continuously opposing these recruitments and is alleging that in the same way, ineligible people were appointed in other departments of the university and Professor Sikandar Kumar did the work of appointing an ineligible professor of the same ideology. Due to which In this professor recruitment, qualified candidates were wrongly excluded.
SFI welcomes this decision of Himachal High Court and is demanding from the state government that a judicial inquiry should be conducted into these recruitments and strict action should be taken against those who have been recruited wrongly.
SFI is demanding from the Himachal Pradesh government that a judicial inquiry into these recruitments should be conducted quickly and along with this, the Governor of Himachal Pradesh who is the Chancellor of the University should also take cognizance of these recruitments and get them investigated.
SFI warned that a committee should be formed for judicial investigation of these recruitments and investigate it. Along with this, the decision given by the High Court should be implemented quickly. If the university administration does not take cognizance of this, then SFI will protest against the university administration in the university in the coming time.
