SEIL (Student experience in Inter State Living) 30 delegates of National Integration Tour 2023 met Buddhist Guru Dalai Lama
State Minister of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Himachal Pradesh, Akash Negi has issued a statement informing that under the Inter-State Student Life Darshan National Integration Tour-2023, the students who came from the northeastern states to Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh today met the Guru of Buddhism. He said that (Students’ Experience in Inter-state Living SEIL) 1966 Vidyarthi is a voluntary organization working among the youth which was started by the Vidyarthi Parishad in 1966 to promote national integration and unity among the people of remote areas of our great nation. Continuously working to strengthen “One Nation-One People-One Culture” is our mantra. SEIL Seal’s representative after visiting Dharamshala and Kangra for two days met the Dalai Lama on February 13. After increasing pressure on Tibetans by Chinese troops in China, 1959 Dalai Lama had come to India in 2015 and he says that now he does not feel like going to China. While talking to the students of North Eastern states, he gave his blessings to the students for a bright future. All the students looked very excited. The wait to meet the President came to an end today. After this all the students were taken to Mcleodganj which is one of the important tourist places of Himachal Pradesh and is home to many Tibetans who came after the occupation of Tibet by China, because of which it is sometimes called small. Lhasa or Dharamshala and Lhasa, also called Dhasa. It is also the headquarters of the Tibetan government-in-exile. As well as the Bhagsunag Temple, a major religious center dedicated to Lord Shiva, the temple reflects the art and culture of the medieval period. All these places were visited.
During this, while sharing their experiences, the representatives of Rashtriya Ektamata Yatra said that after coming to Himachal, they are getting an environment like their own home. He got the privilege of visiting Himachal through the Inter-State Student Life Darshan Yatra established by the Vidyarthi Parishad, as well as meeting the Dalai Lama and taking his blessings made him more happy. Met the people of Himachal and got to know a lot about the culture, food and clothing here. Today, where our country is divided into religions and castes, the way Vidyarthi Parishad has been working since 1966 to promote national unity through this journey is commendable.
Earlier on February 07, 2023, a group reached Manali in Himachal Pradesh under Inter State Student Life Darshan National Integration Tour-2023. After that he was taken to the famous Hadimba temple there. In the evening he was accommodated in the host families there. The next day, these representatives visited the religious and tourist places of Manali like Solang Nala, Vishishtha Temple, etc. On February 10, a civic reception was organized for these representatives at Dev Sadan in Kullu. All these representatives were also honored there.
Tomorrow, on February 14, a civic reception will be organized for all the students from the North-East at Kotwali Community Hall, in which Mr. Vipin Parmar (former Assembly Speaker) as the chief guest, Mr. Umesh Dutt Sharma as the special guest. Former National General Secretary A.B.V.P.) and special guest Mr. Nirav Ghelani (Former Regional Organization Minister North Eastern Region) will be mainly present. Will also be face to face.
