Search operation of missing trekker continue at Friendship peak

A week after missing of Himachal Pradesh trekker in the avalanche at Friendship peak of Kullu rescue team succeed to trace helmet of the victim from the snow. Search operation is mainly concentrated on avalanche site as three youth trapped in the snow after avalanche triggered over them near Friendship peak . The helmet of a trekker belonging to Chopal in Shimla district, who went missing after being hit by a glacier at Friendship Peak on November 17, has been recovered on Thursday.  Deputy commissioner Kullu Ashutosh Garg said that after getting the helmet of the tracker, the search teams have now covered the search in limited border area.  This has increased the chances of getting the tracker.   After this, it will be easier for the team involved in the search operation to carry out their search operation.  .DC  told that after getting the helmet of the missing tracker, the teams involved in the search operation will be able to find it easily.  Now it is expected that soon the dead body of the missing tracker would also be recovered.  Retired army personnel deployed DC Kullu Ashutosh Garg said that such retired army personnel have also been deployed for the search operation, who have served in the Avalanche area.  While the teams of Adventure Tour Operators Association and Atal Bihari Vajpayee Mountaineering Institute, Manali started the search from 20 November.
