Sanjay Kundu constitute a SIT to investigate Firecracker factory blast claim six lives
State Director General of Police, Sanjay Kundu constitued a three member spl. InvestigationTeam (SIT) to probe Bathri Firecracker factory blast case occurred in Tahliwal industrial in Haroli Subdivision of Una district claiming six lives on Tuesday.
A order issued by the DGP said that SIT comprising of DIG north range Sumedha Dewedi, Commandment 1st IRBn Vimukatanjan and SP Una Arjit Sen Thakur will investigate Firecracker factory blast thoroughly & expeditiously and update the Police Headquarters with regard to the progress of investigation periodically.
FIR was lodged against the owner of factory today under section 286 (for indulging in offence of negligence with explosives substance,) sec 337( offences to hurt someone or endanger lives ) , 304A IPC ( Culpable homicide but not murder ) and sec 9 ( C ) of Explosive Act ( offence committed by company at police station Haroli.
The SIT will carry out professional and impartial investigation to ensure that the ends of justice are met to victims of explosive incident took place today in a fire cracker factory Tahliwal Industrial area in Una district, he added.
